Serena Smith-Williams
Serena Smith-Williams is a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and a certified massage therapist. She is also a proud partner of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
Serena has a BA in Psychology, an MS in Clinical Research Organization and Management, and a Medical Writing Certificate in Regulatory Writing. She is also a member of the American Medical Writers Association.
After spending the last 8 years in clinical research, she wanted to return to her passion of healthy living and in 2011 she started Personal Lifestyle Wellness, LLC to provide personal/small group training, massage therapy, and more. She is currently studying sports/fitness and holistic nutrition and wants to become a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance.
She has become a member of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics Business Network and The Holistic Moms Network. As a wife and mom of three, she firmly believes more women need to be aware that the personal care products they use on themselves and their children, as well as the cleaning products they bring into their homes, have a very strong impact on health.
She continues to share her passion for healthy living through health and wellness articles as a Contributing Writer for Suite 101.
